The proceedings of IASDR 2021 will be published by Springer. We therefore use a different fee model to distribute the publication costs among the authors. By keeping publication fees separate from registration fees, we hope we can encourage more people including non-presenting participants to join our conference and community.
Please note that for every accepted Paper, Pictorial, or Designed Object submission, at least one author has to register personally, as well as pay a publication fee* during registration. The lead author for every accepted Graduate Consortium short paper has to register personally, as well as pay a discounted publication fee^ during registration.
Please also note that the proceedings will only include those Papers, Pictorials, Designed Objects, and Graduate Consortium short papers that are presented at the conference.
1 IASDR 2021 is planned to be held in online-offline hybrid format to benefit all the participants. However, if the global pandemic situation is still not good enough to attract the minimum viable number of visitors to Hong Kong, and/or the local pandemic situation does not allow for physical events, the conference will be moved online entirely.
# Full registration package includes admission to the main conference programme and Graduate Consortium. Additionally for physical attendance – if applicable, the full registration package also covers admissions to the conference reception and conference gala, as well as a complimentary copy of the conference Proceedings.
* If you are an author with a single accepted submission, you will need to pay a flat publication fee of USD 150 in addition to the registration fee. If you are the presenting author for more than two accepted submissions, you will need to pay a USD 150 publication fee for your first accepted submission, and a USD 100 for each of your additional accepted submissions, in addition to your registration fee.
